A new kitchen gadget, made by US firm Burnt Impressions, burns photographs onto each slice of toast and promises to bring hours entertainment morning after morning.
Those eager to get their hands on the customised appliance need only send a selfie and expect to receive their toaster within one week.
“This is not photoshop fiction,” says Burnt Impressions’ website.
“This is real toast with your face toasted on it.”
While the novelty of a selfie toaster might be hard to resist, breakfast guests might just be swayed into thinking that you’ve delved into the pits of narcissism.
