Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is coming to theaters August 8, 2014, but in the mean time, the promotional campaign is still kicking in. That includes a game for the 3DS as well as what was confirmed today as a game on the Xbox Kinect. It’ll be called Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Training Lair, and it’s coming out very soon.
It’s coming to Xbox’s Kinect July 22nd and will only be available for a limited amount of time. The best part about the game, it’s completely free! Assuming it’s going up until the film’s release date as part of a “training” montage, players will have roughly two and a half weeks of hype before they can go see Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles in action. Paramount Pictures will be partnering up with Microsoft for the game, utilizing the Kinect for it’s fighting game mechanics.
In the 3DS game, it was announced that you could play as the four different ninja turtles, but there was no co-op, so it’ll be interesting to see what this Kinect game will bring to the table. I’m expecting there will only be single player, but nobody’s for certain until it shows up on the Kinect next week.
What do y’all think of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles game? Will you pick it up and try it out? It is free after all. I’d love to know your comments down below!
