The Wii Sports Club retail release for North America is tomorrow, July 25. The game will retail for $39.99 and includes all five sports that are currently available on the Nintendo eShop, including baseball, boxing, bowling, tennis and golf. The game is a follow-up to the highly popular Wii Sports Resort, for the original Wii console.
If you haven’t yet tried any of the new sports on your Wii U, Nintendo is offering a 48 hour trial for each sport until December 31 of this year. If you decide you like the sports and want to purchase them all, you save $10 by purchasing the retail version, since each sport retails for $9.99 on the Nintendo eShop. Will you be purchasing the retail version, or are the eShop versions enough for you?
There’s still no word if the Wii Sports Club bundle we saw in Japan will be available in North America, but given the popularity of the original Wii Sports, this could be something we see soon with the release of the retail package.
