Independent developer The Farm 51 announced that its first-person shooter Deadfall Adventures is coming to PS3, with a number of enhancements for Sony's console.
Like the PC and Xbox 360 version, Deadfall Adventures: Heart of Atlantis is largely based on the Allan Quartermain series of novels written by Henry Rider Haggard. Players fill the role of James Lee Quartermain as he searches for treasure in locales such as the Arctic North, deserts of Egypt and jungles of Guatemala.
The PS3 version, Deadfall Adventures: Heart of Atlantis, however, has a number of changes. The Farm 51 has added a new co-op survival mode, along with new boss fights, cutscenes, locations and an improved leveling system. The graphics have also been overhauled, according to the developer.
The Farm 51 is planning to release Deadfall Adventures: Heart of Atlantis this summer, although no specified release date has been announced.
In Techbaaja of Deadfall Adventures, the original version for PC and Xbox 360, we praised the diverse locations the globetrotting title took us to, but the combat was too tedious and the writing too boring to recommend the game to most shooter fans.
