Acer Iconia A1-713 with 3G and voice calling support launched at Rs 12999

With the Acer Iconia A1-713, the company has done well to infuse the Indian market with a powerful tablet that does voice calling and is available for just Rs 12999. Its components as well as its asking amount make it a worthy competitor to the newly announced Flipkart tablet named the Digiflip Pro XT 712 and others.

The Iconia A1-713 sports a 7-inch display which has its resolution locked at 1024 x 600 pixels. It runs the Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system, but Acer has promised an update to the 4.4 KitKat version which will be rolled out in the near future.

This device comes equipped with a quad core processor made by MediaTek, that has its clock speed set at 1.3GHz. It is assisted by 1GB of RAM, while storage-wise, the tablet offers a 16GB module. There’s a microSD card slot present on it as well, in case you’re a fan of expandable storage.

The Acer Iconia A1-713 has a 2MP camera placed on its rear surface, whereas a 1.3MP front-facing snapper also forms part of its offerings. This slate moreover, features a 3400mAh battery on it.
